What We Process
When you submit text for translation, the service processes the text, selected target, Old English style preset when applicable, and selected register setting so it can return a translation.
DeepSeek API
Live translation sends your submitted text to the configured DeepSeek API account. DeepSeek processes the request to generate a response. Do not submit passwords, payment details, confidential documents, or sensitive personal information.
Storage
This starter implementation does not create user accounts, does not store translation history in a database, and does not sell submitted text. Hosting providers may keep standard security and access logs, but the application does not log translation input or model output.
Analytics and Advertising
Privacy-friendly analytics and advertising scripts are disabled unless production environment variables are configured. Analytics events do not include submitted text, translated output, or glossary content.
Your Choices
You can avoid sending text to the model by not pressing Translate. For deletion or privacy questions, email privacy@saxonenglishtranslator.com or use the Connect page.
